Flex-Stick Review....Helping me walk better one step at a time........ :)

HELPING PEOPLE WALK BETTER -- IT'S WHY RANjAM EXISTS!

"The 'FLEX-STICK', byRANjAM, LLC is the exciting new three legged, revolutionary walking cane. Comfort and control are provided as spring-loaded legs cushion the hand while maintaining contact with the ground as the 'FLEX-STICK' tilts with normal walking.  Replaces quad canes & single point canes."

"With the 'FLEX-STICK', some of the most uneven surfaces are made much easier to negotiate as the legs compensate and the springs act as shock absorbers, moving up and down to level out the ride, much the same way as an automobile handles bumps and pot holes."

This is NOT a cane.  It's a ''FLEX-STICK!

The gorgeous blue one in the middle is the one that RANjAM so generously sent me :)

Don't you just love the design???
I do!!!

I have gotten so many compliments just on the design,
and then they will start looking at the actual Flex-Stick itself
and noticing that this isn't your everyday cane that you see people
walking with. This Flex-Stick is absolutely amazing.

The first time I took it to my Doctor appointment with me,
my Dr. immediately noticed the design and asked me to check it out.
He was very interested in the spring-loaded legs,
knowing that with my Sciatica and crushed tail-bone, that this is
probably exactly what I need.
I left him all the information and he even put the brochures that I had
brought with me up in his office for his patients to see.

Pretty much the same thing happened at my Physical Therapist's office.
She was amazed at the design and when I showed her how it works,
that when I put my bad leg down, I put the Flex-Stick down
at the exact same time on the other side and it
practically does all the work for me.

The Flex-Stick is amazing when you are walking on uneven surfaces.
Because of the spring-loaded legs, one or two or however many are needed will
actually go down only as far as needed to make me still walk level.
I love it, but more importantly.....so does my back :)

I almost forgot to add that the Flex-Stick comes with a
built in flashlight. It's right at hand level so you can easily turn it
on and off when needed. It comes in so handy when walking
at night, or when looking for the door locks!!

Check out this video....

l

The 'FLEX-STICK' comes in two (2) adjustable sizes
'standard' - 31.5" to 38.5" (80 cm to 98 cm) approximate heights from 4'10" to 6'2".
'tall' - 33" to 42" (84 cm to 107 cm) approximate heights from 5'5" to 6'6"
They can also do 'custom short' - 2" (5cm) shorter & 'custom tall' 2" (5cm) longer.

You won't be sorry.

And believe me...
you will NEVER use a cane again!!!

Back pain remedies....

Lately I've been reading up on some natural and/or herbal back pain remedies that might work.

I'm at least going to give them each a try, so I thought I'd share them with you and see if
either any of you have already tried them or have heard of them...

OR...

if any of you might also want to check any of them out....

-Rubbing the back with almond oil and mint oil is also effective home remedies for backache

-- Take sugar candy and khas khas grass in equal amounts and make a powder out of these. Take six grams of this powder with milk, twice in a day.

-- Take three garlic cloves every morning. Also applying garlic oil on the affected area will give you comfort from the pain. To make garlic oil fry ten to twelve garlic cloves in some oil. These oil is very good remedy for backaches.

I got this from here.

How's everyone feeling???

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to say a quick hello and also apologize
for not blogging as much as I should have.

The good news is that I did get my home Internet back
up and running :)

The bad news is that my son was only home for that one night...
and it is so driving me crazy!!
I'm so depressed. My Dr. added an anti-depressant
to the Cymbalta that I already took for my
Fibro & GAD :(
Oh well...I guess all I can do is WAIT, not only to
see if the new pill works, but also to see if my
son will eventually EVER COME  HOME!!

I guess what I really need to do is what they say...

I have a feeling, know I know that it won't be easy, not easy at all...
but I do believe that I can learn some patience, even after losing ever ounce
I've ever had after all these years and five kids ;(
But...I think that with the faking it, and like they say, the consistent
repetition, that maybe...just maybe...
NO I HAVE TO BE MORE CONFIDENT THAN THAT!!!

THIS WILL WORK!!!

IT HAS TO!!!!

Because I can't take much more if it doesn't.

So in this case I'm going to try the whole....

THING.....

CUZ

I FEAR THAT

IT'S EITHER I....

!!!!!!

What I mean is, basically those two are basically saying the
EXACT SAME THING...
only one of them sounds a little bit nicer than the other!!

Wish me luck...

And hey, don't worry..I'm not going to hurt myself or
anything like that....

BUT PLEASE...

do let me know how all of you are doing, I'd love to
hear from all of you out there in the blogosphere :)

A favor and an apology...

I know, I know....you probably thought I quit my blog, eh???

Well I didn't...I'm just having a REALLY incredibly BAD MONTH!!!

First off, my 14 year old, Jacob
ran away this past Saturday afternoon...
and as many of you know, I have GAD
(Generalized Anxiety Disorder) and even
if I didn't....I'd have been going crazy since
that day!! It's been more than 72 hours :(
I am asking that all of you would pray for him,
send up love and light,
good thoughts,
etc,
all of those things I would very much appreciate!!

~~~~~~~~~
Now..if any of you are still waiting on things that you have won,
let me know...I have tried to slowly get things in the mail
that I was behind on....(a big thanks for being so understanding and waiting!!)
Since I don't have Internet at the house right now...
It's very slow going, 30 minutes at a time
at the local library....especially when I have over 14,000
emails in my inbox (and growing) and that's not my junk mail :(
With that....I'm off to do some mose searching
for my son!!
Love to all!
Come be inspired with me.....
I just discovered this wonderfully inspiring man,
Sean Stephenson
 today!!
I couldn't NOT share him with you!!
As soon as he started talking on this video, I knew I was going to like him...
the video I watched didn't warn me that it was a dance party...
so when he said we were going to dance, I was
all kinds of excited!!!
I don't dance nearly enough!!
And now that I've watched this video, I can now say that tenfold.
I don't dance nearly enough!!
OK, enough is enough...watch and dance already.....
OK...I'm dying to know your thoughts!!!
And better yet, I'm dying to know, did you dance along??
I totally did, and when he said to make sure I was alone, I cheated a little...
I let my ten and five years old stick around to watch.
(I mean why not, they already thought I was crazy, lol)
And then I totally went all out...but only from the waist up, I thought it was only
fair with Sean on the screen and all.
But you can be sure of one thing...
I will definitely be taking Sean up on his recommendation of
having my own dance party three times a day, every day!!!
I TOTALLY LOVE IT!!!
ONE WOMAN DANCE PARTY, HERE I COME!!!
This wont be the last you hear from me
about Sean that is....
he has a really cool book out that I'm trying to get my hands on...
among other things I'll be sharing...
that is, if your comments are positive!!
Lessons learned and....
I have learned
 that allowing your child
to watch television
OR
play video games for a little while,
while you rest on the couch
WILL NOT
cause lightening to strike
OR
children services to show up at your
doorstep.
:)
~~~~

OK, so listen up, I don't actually take
any credit for those words up-top.
Although I completely agree with them :)
and have many a times laid down on the couch while
the kids were here in the living room with me, either
watching TV, playing legos, etc.
They all know that Mommy is right there on the
couch and that if they need anything, I am just
resting, all they have to do is ask.
They are not allowed to answer the door or
the phone no matter what!!!
But they have no problem with that, because
the younger one's can't answer the door
even when I'm not resting !!!!
So when I am hurting and exhausted and
I need a rest, I take it!!
And I don't feel guilty in the slightest :)
The credit actually goes to a wonderful new blog
that I happened to come across...
Oh, don't you just love it when that happens???
So anyways, the blog is called
Rest Ministries

The actual article that I
got this lesson from can be found here.

I definitely think you should check it out!!
There is more than a wealth of information there.
You can even sign up for a daily devotional
to be sent directly to you email each day if you like.

If you are interested in the daily devotionals
or want more information about them,

OK, I'm off for now.
Hope you all are feeling well as can be!!
I'd love to hear some of your stories or ailments
if you care to share!!

Valentine's Day giveaway ....

Hey there...
we all know that Valentine's Day is
very quickly creeping up on us....

I just wanted to let you all know that I have an
giveaway going on
right now on my other blog :)

I felt like sharing the wealth...
I am an EdenFantasys Ambassador
and I have a few of my own
gift codes that I haven't used yet!!
So, if you are interested,
head on over there and
get yourself as many entries as you can!!

Hey, maybe you can find something there that will help you to
at least forget about you pain for a little while
every once in awhile :)

Mention you read about it on "THIS Chronic Pain SUCKS"
and take three extra entries!!!!....after the mandatory one, of course :)
You can click here to find the post.
I would appreciate it if you'd finish reading and then respond to
the question I ask though. Thank you in advance!!

I don't actually know if this is fair or not...
but I didn't actually announce the post as a giveaway on my
other blog!! I guess I wanted to see how many
people would read through the whole post.

I am going to post it on the giveaways page and on the side bar though.
Who knows, I'll probably feel like super guilty all night,
not be able to sleep and then get up and
change it first thing anyways!!

Please share your thoughts with me on this...
Do you think that was wrong of me??
Not to post the giveaway in the post title??
It's me giving it away, not a sponsor!!

And, yes...I do realize that many of you follow me on both blogs!!
I much appreciate you!!

((Hugs)) and health!!
~Steph
